Bio

Elaine brings her passion for helping people to her role at Farias Family Law, where she is dedicated to providing clients with unparalleled support and guidance during challenging times. Her commitment to exceptional service ensures clients feel educated, empowered, and cared for throughout the legal process.

Elaine earned her bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University, graduating cum laude with a major in political science and double minors in sociology and communication studies. During her undergraduate years, she excelled academically, receiving University Honors for her advanced coursework and research on First Amendment speech. She also explored sign language and held leadership positions in Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed community service fraternity, and the Pre-Law Honors Society.

Elaine continued her education at Northern Illinois University, graduating cum laude with her Juris Doctor degree. During law school, she distinguished herself in national moot court competitions and took on leadership roles in various student organizations, including the Moot Court Society, Animal Legal Defense Fund, Phi Alpha Delta, and the American Constitution Society.

Her passion for family law grew while working as a licensed student-attorney, where she represented individuals in domestic violence disputes. This experience solidified her desire to help families navigate legal challenges with compassion and expertise.

When not at work, Elaine loves spending time with her husband, Ian, and their two dogs, Coco and Canyon. She enjoys outdoor activities like running, hiking, and cycling, as well as traveling and watching crime documentaries.
