Megan is a paralegal at Farias Family Law. She supports clients throughout the legal process, and is dedicated to providing high-quality service to each client she works with.
Megan is passionate about psychology and is a strong advocate for mental health, so she’s the perfect paralegal for clients wanting to reduce stress as they work through the process. And who doesn’t want to reduce stress when going through divorce? She graduated from Union College with a bachelor’s in English, and minors in psychology and history.
After graduation, Megan worked as a legal coordinator in Intellectual Property Law for three years, gaining valuable experience and insight into legal proceedings. She then spent a year and a half working as a Trust Officer, where she worked closely with individuals and families going through difficult changes in their lives.
Family Law came as a natural step for Megan to combine her passions for the legal field and helping people work though change and difficult times.
In Megan’s free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, skiing, and binge-watching period dramas on TV. Megan keeps herself centered by practicing mindfulness, staying connected with friends and family, and spending quality time with her husband Luc, their dog Lucy and their cat Torvi.
